The school runs for two weeks. The first half of the period is chiefly devoted to the monopoles and solitons and the second part on string/M-theories and branes. Weather: During February, the average temperature of Cheju Island is about 5C (41F). The Halla mountain, which is located at the central part of the island, is covered with snow. The participants are recommended to bring their warm clothings and shoes just in case. Currency and Credit Card : The unit of Korean currency is Won. Major foreign currencies, traveler's checks, and major credit cards are accepted at most hotels, banks, and the airport. Current exchange rate is approximately 1350 Won per US $1. Passport and Visa : Visitors with the passport and the return ticket, can stay in Korea up to 15 days without visa (with exception of a few countries).
