The school is to be held at KAL Hotel, Seogwipo City, the southern part of the Cheju Island. The Cheju Island is known as the Hawaii in Korea, which has a beautiful landscape and maintains mild temperature during winter season. Confirmed Speakers/Lecturers include: Dorey, Patrick (Durham) Fendley, Paul (Virginia) Schoutens, Kareljan (Amsterdam) Smirnov, Fedor (Jussieu) Wadati, Miki (Tokyo) Zuber, Jean-Bernard (Saclay) Zamolodchikov, Alexei (Montpellier) and More During the School period, the first two days are assigned to Workshop on recent developments and are followed by lectures focusing on details of the integrable quantum field theories. Please send the attached Registration Form by January 15, 2000 to attend the School. To present a seminar (30-45 minutes), one may add the title and abstract in the Registration Form. The reduced rate is also applicable to Post-Docs upon request. A limited number of financial support is available for students and participants from member countries. The Halla mountain is located at the central part of the island and one pass is open for hiking even though the peak is covered with snow. The participants are recommended to bring their warm clothings and shoes just in case. Currency and Credit Card : The unit of Korean currency is Won. Major foreign currencies, traveler's checks, and major credit cards are accepted at most hotels, banks, and the airport. Current exchange rate is approximately 1150 Won per US $1.
