超高ルミノシティーBファクトリーの検討会のお知らせ

KEK Bファクトリーは 順調に成果をあげていますが、 将来 さらに
Bファクトリー加速器のルミノシティーを現在の計画の十倍以上
（Beyond 10^35 s^-1 cm^-1) あげることを目指して、加速器、実験、
理論 の検討をはじめています。 この計画にはまず 超高ルミノシティー
Bファクトリーの物理的意義を定量的に明らかにする必要があります。
そのための理論実験 合同の検討会を次のように開きます。

５月１７日（木） １：３０PMより 
KEK 研究本館 １階会議室

Announcement of informal meeting on ultra-high luminosity 
B factory

As the KEK B factory project now entered on a very productive phase, 
accelerator people, experimentalists and theorists have 
started discussion on the possibility of ultra-high luminosity 
B factory, which is aiming for at least 10 times larger luminosity 
(= Beyond 10^35 s^-1 cm^-1) than the present B factory project.
In order to realize such a project, it is very important to clarify 
physics potential of such a machine in a quantitative way. 
For this propose we are planning to have an informal meeting among 
theorists and experimentalists as follows.

May 17 (Thursday) 1:30 PM -
KEK, Kenkyu-honakan 1st floor, Meeting room
( 2-3 hours informal discussion)

Announcement of the 3nd theory working group meeting for high
luminosity
B factory

The working group meeting on the beyond 10^35 B factory will be held
as follows:

Time:  June 28 (Thursday), 2001, 13:00 - 16:00

13:00 N. Katayama: Experimental prospects of high luminosity B factory 
13:40 M. Hazumi: Search for a new CP violating phase
14:10 T. Kurimoto: Updates of LR model analysis at next B factory 
14:40 K. Ukai: Uncertainty of strong phases and CP asymmetries in PQCD 
15:10-  Discussion on further studies
