If new particles are discovered at the LHC, the main challenge will be to find which of the many competing models (SUSY, extra dimensions, compositeness, ...) correctly predicts their properties: most fundamentally, their masses and spins. The aim of this meeting will be to review and compare the many methods for mass and spin determination that have been proposed over the past few years, in order to extract as much information as possible from the forthcoming LHC data. The meeting will be a small workshop for experts (around 30 people). Confirmed participants so far include Ben Allanach(DAMTP, University of Cambridge) Johan Alwall (SLAC) Alan Barr (Oxford) Wonsang Cho (SNU) Kiwoon Choi (KIAS) Csaba Csaki (Cornell University) Claude Duhl (Louvain University) Rohini M Godbole (Indian Institute of Science) Ben Gripaios (CERN) Tao Han (University of Wisconsin-Madison) Kouhei Hasegawa (DESY Zeuthen) Michael Herquet (NIKHEF, Netherland) Nick Kersting (Sichuan U) Kyoungchul Kong (FermiLab) Mariangela Lisanti (SLAC) Kentarou Mawatari (Heidelberg University) Myeonghun Park (Florida University) Michael Peskin (SLAC) Tilman Plehn (Heidelberg) Giacomo Polesello (INFN) Are Raklev (Cambridge) Albert De Roeck (Antwerpen & CERN) Tim Tait (Argonne & Northwestern ) Ho-Chin Tsai (National Taiwan University) Lian-Tao Wang (Princeton) Bryan Webber (University of Cambridge & CERN) Further details can be found on the workshop website linked at http://www.ipmu.jp/seminars/20090316-focusweek.html If you would like to attend, please register on-line. Registration Deadline: March 6th, 2009 (JST) If you need travel/local expense support please contact to nojiri__AT__post.kek.jp Since places are limited, early application is encouraged.
