Observations of large-scale structure of the universe suggest Cold Dark Matter as the best viable candidate, whereas particle physics theories predict a variety of weakly interacting massive particles. Direct dark matter detection experiments are underway. Ongoing and planned observations of the structure of Milky Way and that of the distant universe will provide clues to the nature of dark matter. We bring together experts in particle physics and cosmology as well as in astrophysics, to discuss the future prospects for identifying dark matter. Organizers: Alexander Kusenko Shigeki Matsumoto Fuminobu Takahashi Tsutomu Yanagida Naoki Yoshida %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Date: Wed, 25 May 2011 17:35:57 +0900 From: To: Subject: [sg-l 6473] 【再送】IPMU Focus Week on Astrophysics of Dark Matter Program 素粒子論グループの皆様 先日お知らせした内容に、一部誤り(HPのアドレス)がありましたので、 IPMU Focus Week on Astrophysics of Dark Matter Program の案内を再度させて頂きます。 会議のプログラム等詳細は、以下のHPをご参照ください。 http://member.ipmu.jp/naoki.yoshida/ADM.html 参加費は一切不要でが、参加される方は shigeki.matsumoto__AT__ipmu.jp までご一報いただければ幸いです。 どうぞ宜しくお願いいたします。 松本重貴 ----------------- Focus week on Astrophysics of Dark Matter Dates: May 30 - June 3, 2011 Place: IPMU Lecture Hall, the University of Tokyo The nature of dark matter remains largely unknown.
