題目:「Cosmological inflation from higher-dimensional gauge theory and gravity」 講師:小山 陽次(台湾清華大学) Abstract: Cosmological inflation in the early universe is necessary for current cosmology. We propose inflation models based on higher-dimensional gauge theory, and gravity. The extra space components of higher-dimensional gauge field and metric are scalar fields in 4 dimensions. We show the inflation models in which the scalar field from A_M or g_{MN} is identified with the inflaton can solve the fine-tuning problem in inflation. Then we consider the possibility of the inflation model based on the higher-dimensional gauge theory plus gravity.
