The field is involved with various fundamental issues of physics, including: black hole information loss problem, topological orders of condensed matter physics, and reinterpretation of AdS/CFT correspondence using tensor networks in quantum information theory. YQIP2016 is the second YITP international workshop emphasizing a focus on quantum information physics. The workshop will feature invited talks, contributed talks, and a poster session. The registration fee for the workshop is free. Banquet will be held on Jan 6th. We hope to be able to partially support local expenses for mainly young participants; who are invited to give oral and/or poster presentations. The workshop will consist of invited talks by experts from these fields, an invited poster session and ample time to exchange and develop ideas, discuss common problems and initiate collaborations. The list of invited speakers will include Guifre Vidal (Perimeter Institute for Theoritical Physics) Bei-Lok Hu (University of Maryland) Hidetoshi Nishimori (Tokyo Institute of Technology) Masaki Oshikawa (University of Tokyo) Gen Kimura (Shibaura Institute of Technology) Those interested in attending are encouraged to register at the conference website http://www2.yukawa.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~yipqs.project/form_e.php?id=303 The dead line of presentation application is Nov. 13, 2015.
