One of plausible explanations is a hadronic molecule picture where hadron-like correlations are enhanced near the threshold region, which has been successfully applied to several X,Y,Z states. Yet the other important ingredients are the quark dynamics such as diquarks and compact multiquark structures. We discuss the recent attempt to explore these problems in the current and future experimental studies, and in phenomenological analyses on heavy hadron productions and decays.
