There have been annual workshops in Kyoto on string theory and quantum field theory for more than 20 years. Last year, more than hundred participants gathered and there were 5 long talks including review by invited speakers and 35 short talks as well as poster sessions. This year we will invite six speakers, Christopher Herzog (YITP, Stony Brook U.) Shinya Kanemura (Osaka U.) Takahiro Nishinaka (Ritsumeikan U.) Vladimir Rosenhaus (KITP, UC Santa Barbara) Kallol Sen (Kavli IPMU, Tokyo U.) Hiroshi Suzuki (Kyushu U.) for long talks. All the talks including short/poster talks will be in English. We in particular encourage participation of foreign researchers in Japan. The registration for the workshop is open at the web site: http://www2.yukawa.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~qft.web/ The deadline of the registration is Friday, June 9. It is highly recommended that you book accommodations as early as possible! Recently it is getting hard to book a hotel in Kyoto in this season.
