開催概要
日程：2019年7月7日（日）～12日（金）
場所：理化学研究所計算科学研究センター・神戸大学統合研究拠点
主催：理化学研究所 計算科学研究センター(R-CCS)
協力：ポスト「京」重点課題実施機関
内容
日欧米カナダのハイパフォーマンスコンピューティング（HPC）の最前線にいる研究者による、以下のトピックに関する講義や実習を予定。
· 各分野におけるハイパフォーマンスコンピューティング
（昨年例：地球、生命、材料科学及び物理）
· ハイパフォーマンスコンピューティングプログラミングスキル
· 性能解析やプロファイリング
· アルゴリズム手法及び数値ライブラリ
· データ集約型計算
· 科学的可視化（科学的成果の可視化技術）
·
日欧米カナダのハイパフォーマンスコンピューティングインフラストラクチャー
参加対象者
日欧米カナダの学生、博士研究員などの若手研究者（80名程度）
※日本からは概ね10名参加予定
※所属機関長または委任を受けた者の公式な依頼状等が得られる大学等の学生または博士研究者などの若手研究員であること
（旅費・滞在費等は弊所負担）

Call For Applications International HPC Summer school 2019

Dates: July 7 – 12, 2019
Place: RIKEN Center for Computational Science
Integrated Research Center of Kobe University

· Research institutes involved in the Post-K computer Priority Issues
Events
Leading European, Canadian, Japanese and American computational
scientists and HPC technologists will offer instruction on a variety of
topics, including:
· HPC challenges by discipline (previous year: earth, life and
materials sciences, physics)
· HPC Programming Proficiencies
· Performance analysis and profiling
· Algorithmic approaches and numerical libraries
· Data-intensive computing
· Scientific visualization
· Canadian, Europe, Japanese and U.S. HPC infrastructures
Eligibility:
Young scientists, including graduate and PhD students (about 80
individuals in total)
Note: Approx. 10 successful applicants will be invited from Japan.
Applicants must belong to universities whose head or the delegated
person can issue a formal letter of request on behalf of applicants.
