本研究会では、京都大学理学研究科と国立台湾大学の研究協力とあわせてアジア地域の研究交流の促進を目指し、多角的な見地から活躍される研究者の方々をお招きして場の理論と弦理論における最新の進展と今後の研究の方向性について議論いたします。詳細については、上記ウェブページをご参照ください。

コーヒーブレークの準備の都合上、11月17日(日)までに参加登録をしていただけると大変助かります。

Recent Progress on Field and String Theory: Kyoto-NTU 2019

For preparation of coffee breaks, we appreciate your registration at the
website before *17 Nov (Sun)*. (We also welcome participation without
registration, but registration is appreciated if you plan to come.)

In this workshop, we will discuss the latest results of field theory and
string theory brought by researchers working on profound problems in these
subjects from various perspectives. Topics we are interested in include:
scattering amplitudes in gauge theory and string theory, methods in CFT,
integrability in AdS/CFT, holographic duality, lower dimensional gravity
and black holes, strong interactions and nonperturbative methods, weak
gravity conjecture.

This workshop will be held as a part of research cooperation between Kyoto
University and National Taiwan University (NTU). In addition, it also aims
to promote scientific exchanges between academic institutions in Asia,
including Kyoto University, NTU, Institute of Theoretical Physics - Chinese
Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS), and National Center for Theoretical Sciences
(NCTS).
