Second Circular

This is the second announcement of the 8th Asia-Pacific conference on
Few-Body problems in Physics (APFB2020).

The conference will be held at Kanazawa Bunka Hall (Kanazawa culture hall)
in Kanazawa city, Japan from August 19th to 23th, 2020.



The first conference of the series was held in Tokyo in 1999. Since then,
conferences have been held, in every three years, in Shanghai (2002),
Thailand (2005), Indonesia (2008), Seoul (2011), Adelaide (2014) and Guilin
(2017).



NOTICE!: The Olympic games will be held in Tokyo, from July 24th to Aug.
9th, 2020.

Then, we are afraid that the cost of air fare may become expensive in this
period. We recommend you to purchase air ticket to Japan as soon as
possible.

Komatsu airport which is close to Kanazawa city is an international airport.
You can find a way to the airport from your country.

2. Conference Venue

----------------------------

The scientific program of the conference will be held at Kanazawa Bunka
Hall, which is located in Kanazawa city, Ishikawa prefecture.

As for the access to Kanazawa Bunka Hall, please visit the following URL:

Kanazawa city is located about 300 km northwest of Tokyo.

The nearest international airport from the venue is Komatsu airport (KMQ),
which is located about 40 minutes by an airport limousine bus from JR (Japan
Railway) Kanazawa station.  The venue is about 1.7km from Kanazawa station.
It takes 15 minutes by bus.

3. Structure of Conference

The scientific program of the conference is organized in plenary and
parallel sessions.

Plenary talks are by invitation only. Parallel sessions will feature invited
speakers and presentations of research selected from abstracts submitted to
the conference.

In addition to the conference presentations there will also be a poster
session.

5. Abstract Submission

All participants are invited to submit abstracts of their contributions.

The abstract contributions should be submitted via the RCNP indico page that
will be linked

from the conference web site:

An image authentication is required to access the RCNP indico page.  You
must enter characters which are displayed.

To submit an abstract, you need an account of the RCNP indico system.  To
register, click "login" at the top page and follow the instruction.

Once you have a RCNP indico account, you can submit your contribution from
‘Call for Abstracts’ page.



Part of the received contributions will be selected for oral presentations.

A fraction of those not selected will be recommended for a poster
presentation.

The decision will be communicated to the authors by email.



The submission of abstracts via conference web site will be open in January
6th, 2020.  Deadline for abstract submission is March 6th, 2020.

6. Awards

------------

APFB-ANPhA award will be presented to the best contributed talks by young
researchers and graduate students in this conference.

In addition, the best posters are selected among all the poster
presentations and awarded to the poster prize.

7. Proceedings

----------------------------

The conference proceedings will include invited and selected oral
presentations. It will be published in the peer reviewed Journal “Few-Body
Systems". The detail information will be announced in the final circular.

8. Registration

-------------------

In order to attend to the conference, it is absolutely necessary to complete
the on-line registration through the conference web page. Since the final
circular will be sent to those who register, we strongly recommend you to
register as soon as possible.

Registration can be made through the conference web page from January 6th,
2020 by the following procedure:

(1) Visit the conference web page.

(2) Click the [Registration] button.

(3) Click the [Go to the Registration Page] button to visit JTB web site to
use the registration and payment system.

(4) Select [Registration] from the item in "New registration" and click
[Next] button.

(5) Make your Log-in ID and complete your registration according to the
instructions.

(6) After making your account, you can login to 'My page' and check or
modify your registration, make a reservation for your accommodation, and pay
registration fee by a credit card.

Once you have a Login ID, you can login to ‘My Page’ from the entry page,

The fee covers the conference dinner (for conference participants) and
proceedings.

Cancel policy: Before July 31st, 2020, you can get registration fee back
without any cancel charge.

After August 1st, 2020, chancel charge is 100% of registration fee.

今年8月19−23日に開催されるAPFB2020の締め切りが3月7日でしたが、締め切りを延
長し、

現在新型コロナウイルスの感染が拡大している状況ではありますが、

Second Circular

This is the second announcement of the 8th Asia-Pacific conference on
Few-Body problems in Physics (APFB2020).

The conference will be held at Kanazawa Bunka Hall (Kanazawa culture hall)
in Kanazawa city, Japan from August 19th to 23th, 2020.



The first conference of the series was held in Tokyo in 1999. Since then,
conferences have been held, in every three years, in Shanghai (2002),
Thailand (2005), Indonesia (2008), Seoul (2011), Adelaide (2014) and Guilin
(2017).



NOTICE!: The Olympic games will be held in Tokyo, from July 24th to Aug.
9th, 2020.

Then, we are afraid that the cost of air fare may become expensive in this
period. We recommend you to purchase air ticket to Japan as soon as
possible.

Komatsu airport which is close to Kanazawa city is an international airport.
You can find a way to the airport from your country.

2. Conference Venue

The scientific program of the conference will be held at Kanazawa Bunka
Hall, which is located in Kanazawa city, Ishikawa prefecture.

Kanazawa city is located about 300 km northwest of Tokyo.

The nearest international airport from the venue is Komatsu airport (KMQ),
which is located about 40 minutes by an airport limousine bus from JR (Japan
Railway) Kanazawa station.  The venue is about 1.7km from Kanazawa station.
It takes 15 minutes by bus.

3. Structure of Conference

The scientific program of the conference is organized in plenary and
parallel sessions.

Plenary talks are by invitation only. Parallel sessions will feature invited
speakers and presentations of research selected from abstracts submitted to
the conference.

session.

5. Abstract Submission

All participants are invited to submit abstracts of their contributions.

The abstract contributions should be submitted via the RCNP indico page that
will be linked

from the conference web site:

http://www.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp/Divisions/np1-a/apfb2020/abstract/

An image authentication is required to access the RCNP indico page.  You
must enter characters which are displayed.

To submit an abstract, you need an account of the RCNP indico system.  To
register, click "login" at the top page and follow the instruction.

Once you have a RCNP indico account, you can submit your contribution from
‘Call for Abstracts’ page.



Part of the received contributions will be selected for oral presentations.

A fraction of those not selected will be recommended for a poster
presentation.

The decision will be communicated to the authors by email.



The submission of abstracts via conference web site will be open in January
6th, 2020.  Deadline for abstract submission is March 6th, 2020.

6. Awards

------------

APFB-ANPhA award will be presented to the best contributed talks by young
researchers and graduate students in this conference.

In addition, the best posters are selected among all the poster
presentations and awarded to the poster prize.

7. Proceedings

----------------------------

The conference proceedings will include invited and selected oral
presentations. It will be published in the peer reviewed Journal “Few-Body
Systems". The detail information will be announced in the final circular.

In order to attend to the conference, it is absolutely necessary to complete
the on-line registration through the conference web page. Since the final
circular will be sent to those who register, we strongly recommend you to
register as soon as possible.

Registration can be made through the conference web page from January 6th,
2020 by the following procedure:

(1) Visit the conference web page.

(2) Click the [Registration] button.

(3) Click the [Go to the Registration Page] button to visit JTB web site to
use the registration and payment system.

(4) Select [Registration] from the item in "New registration" and click
[Next] button.

(5) Make your Log-in ID and complete your registration according to the
instructions.

(6) After making your account, you can login to 'My page' and check or
modify your registration, make a reservation for your accommodation, and pay
registration fee by a credit card.

Once you have a Login ID, you can login to ‘My Page’ from the entry page,
which can be reached through the conference web page by the procedure
(1)-(3) above, or from a link in a confirmation email.

Cancel policy: Before July 31st, 2020, you can get registration fee back
without any cancel charge.

After August 1st, 2020, chancel charge is 100% of registration fee.

The nearest international airport from the venue is Komatsu airport (KMQ),
which is located about 40 minutes by an airport limousine bus from JR (Japan

All participants are invited to submit abstracts of their contributions.

The abstract contributions should be submitted via the RCNP indico page that
will be linked

To submit an abstract, you need an account of the RCNP indico system.  To

‘Call for Abstracts’ page.



Part of the received contributions will be selected for oral presentations.

A fraction of those not selected will be recommended for a poster
presentation.

The decision will be communicated to the authors by email.

APFB-ANPhA award will be presented to the best contributed talks by young
researchers and graduate students in this conference.

presentations. It will be published in the peer reviewed Journal “Few-Body

This is the second announcement of the 8th Asia-Pacific conference on
Few-Body problems in Physics (APFB2020).

The conference will be held at Kanazawa Bunka Hall (Kanazawa culture hall)
in Kanazawa city, Japan from August 19th to 23th, 2020.



The first conference of the series was held in Tokyo in 1999. Since then,
conferences have been held, in every three years, in Shanghai (2002),
Thailand (2005), Indonesia (2008), Seoul (2011), Adelaide (2014) and Guilin
(2017).



NOTICE!: The Olympic games will be held in Tokyo, from July 24th to Aug.
9th, 2020.

Then, we are afraid that the cost of air fare may become expensive in this
period. We recommend you to purchase air ticket to Japan as soon as
possible.

Komatsu airport which is close to Kanazawa city is an international airport.
You can find a way to the airport from your country.

We have left Friday (Aug. 21) afternoon free for social events. We do not
plan to have an organized tour but rather will provide suggestions for
possible activities.

皆様

今年8月に開催予定でした第8回Asia-Pacific Conference on Few-Body problems in Physics(APFB2020)は
2021年3月1日—5日に延期になりました。その後、会議形態を国内参加者に限り、
現在のところ、対面＋オンラインのハイブリッド方式といたしました。

そこで、この会議の開催にあたり、若干名の講演のcontribution をsg-l,ml-npのコミュニティの
皆様に 限り募集致します。
APFB2020にて、講演を希望する方は、

に12月29日（日本時間17時まで）に提出してください。

また、APFB2020への参加希望者は、これから2週間以内にregistrationを開始いたします。
