ILCは国際推進チーム(IDT)が2021年に提出したPre-lab proposalに基づき
その中の技術開発の主要部分を国際協力で進めるILC Technology Network
が本年よりスタートし、現在諸外国と国際協力の立ち上げを行っています。
また、欧州ではFCC feasibility studyとも連携したECFA Higgs factory study
が進んでおり、物理・ソフトウェア・測定器技術の検討を特定のプロジェクトに
依存しないgenericな形で行っています。

そのような中、2021年に発足したILC-Japan物理ワーキンググループは、
ILCに現在直接参加していない研究者も含めて共同でILCの物理・測定器研究を
進める方法を検討しており、その一貫として、
ILC-Japan Physics working groupのgeneral meetingを開催し、
毎回テーマを設けてILCの物理や関連する他実験の連携等について
open discussionを行っています。

11/25(金)の第一回, 2/22(水)に第二回に続き、
4/25(火)に第3回の会議を東大(理学部1号館) + Zoomにて行います。

今回のメイントピックは前回に続きヒッグス自己結合とその回りの物理ですが、
最近LHCやCircular Higgs factoryの文脈で話題になっているシングルヒッグス
終状態からの間接測定や、Belle IIとの関連について特にフォーカスします。
また、欧米の将来測定器の開発ストラテジーとの連携についても議論します。

Dear Collegues,

ILC International Development Team (IDT) is starting activities
of ILC Technology Network (ITN, starting this year) to cooperate
among global partner institutes to perform time-critical R&Ds
for ILC accelerator technologies. For physics and detector activities,
ECFA Higgs/electroweak/top factory studies are ongoing
as project-independent activities for e+e- Higgs factories
with close relation to IDT and FCC feasilibity studies.

We, ILC-Japan physics working group, are aiming to expand
ILC physics and detector researches to community-wide activities.
On this purpose, we are holding series of
"General meetings of ILC-Japan physics working group"
to stimulate discussions on collaboration between ILC and other experiments.

We'll hold the third meeting, following the first one in November and the
second
one in February, on 25th of April (Tue) at U. Tokyo + Zoom.

The main topic is Higgs self-coupling & related physics again, but
this time we will focus on single Higgs productions and relation to Belle
II.
We also have a discussion on detector development strategies
in Europe/US and possible collaborations.

Any new ideas are highly welcome.

4/25(火)の第3回に続き、9/4(月)に第4回の会議を行います。

今回も前回に続き東大(理学部1号館) + Zoomにて行います。
(会議は英語で行います)

過去3回の会議を踏まえ、5月以降、これまで企画を行っていたグループを拡大し、
Belle/ATLASの若手研究者や理論家も加えたILC-Japan physics WG コアグループを
設置しました。これまで6回のミーティングを行い、主に昨年のSnowmassに向けて
まとめたドキュメント(arXiv:2203.07622)をもとにILCの物理ケースに関する
議論を行ってきました。
今回の会議ではそのまとめとそれを踏まえたILCのキラーサイエンスに関する
議論、また最近高エネルギー将来計画委員会のe+e-班で行っている
「alternative e+e- collider」に関する議論の紹介と議論も行います。

前回は、リモートでは多くの方々の参加をいただきましたが、現地参加は少し
寂しい感じでしたので、ご都合のつく方で特に東京近辺の方は
ぜひ現地へのご来場をご検討ください。
(もちろんリモート参加も引き続き歓迎します)

We, ILC-Japan physics working group, are aiming to expand
ILC physics and detector researches to community-wide activities.
On this purpose, we are holding series of
"General meetings of ILC-Japan physics working group"
to stimulate discussions on collaboration between ILC and other experiments.

We'll hold the fourth meeting on 4th of September (Mon) at U. Tokyo + Zoom.

Since the last meeting we expand planning group to include people
from other experiments (Belle2/ATLAS) and theorists to form a "core group".
The group already had 6 meetings, mainly reviewing snowmass ILC paper
(arXiv:2203.07622) to discuss ILC physics cases.
This meeting aims to summarize these discussions as well as
reviewing recent discussions on CFP/JAHEP e+e- subgroup
about "alternative" e+e- collider projects.

We would like to invite all people in interest, especially those
who have not yet related to any ILC activities.
Any new ideas are highly welcome.

9/4(月)の第4回に続き、12/20(水)に第5回の会議を行います。

今回はKEK2号館1階会議室大+Zoomで行います。
(会議は英語で行います)
メインセッション(14:30からの予定)では、前回以降に話題となった
EFTを含むヒッグス測定の感度とBSM探索の関係性、
フレーバー物理とヒッグスファクトリーの関係について主に議論を行う予定です。

12/21から「素粒子物理の今と未来」ワークショップがありますが、
今回はそれとつなげる日程で設定しました。
KEKに来られる方は、ぜひ本会議にも現地参加をご検討ください。
(もちろんリモート参加も引き続き歓迎します)

現地参加される方で旅費が必要な方は
補助ができる可能性がありますので、石野・末原までご相談ください。
(予算に限りがありますので、可能な限りご自身の財源での出張をご検討ください。)
