素粒子論グループの皆さま、

Belle II Physics Week (Belle II の若手向けのスクール）と併設したワークシ
ョップの案内です。今後、理論とBelle IIとの連携を増やすことを目的とした、
トピックをしぼったワークショップを開催していく計画です。今回のテーマは 
CKM行列要素 |Vcb| の決定に関して、10月30日~11月3日に開催します。

We announce the workshop on precision |Vcb| measurements at Belle II, 
which will be held at KEK on Oct 30 to Nov 3, 2023.

This is the first of a series of workshops focusing on special topics at 
the interface of theory and experiment that are priorities for the Belle 
II program. These workshops are intended to foster open discussion among 
Belle II experimentalists and theory experts. A generous amount of 
discussion time is allotted to each talk in the program, which also 
includes extensive break out sessions. In this spirit, participation to 
the workshop is intended to be only in person to maximize the 
interactions and discussion. The workshop's discussions and conclusions 
will be documented in a short KEK report.

The workshop will take place in parallel with the Belle II physics week: 
a school on flavor physics for Belle II PhD students and early postdocs. 
The school lectures are planned for each morning, with the workshop 
sessions following each afternoon. Each morning will therefore be free 
for workshop participants to pursue further collaborative work, 
discussions, or activities at their discretion.
