依頼によりLBNL-UTokyo Quantum Computing Workshop (10/30, 31) のお知らせを送らせてもらいます。

皆様、

東京大学素粒子物理国際研究センター(ICEPP)では、量子コンピュータの高エネルギー物理への応用研究を
進めていますが、今回ローレンスバークレー国立研究所(LBNL)の研究者と共同で、10月30日、31日に
本郷キャンパスでワークショップを開催します。

このワークショップでは、場の理論の量子シミュレーション、量子アルゴリズムの実装・回路最適化、
3準位系など高次元量子系を使った量子計算にフォーカスします。各研究者に最新の研究について発表して
もらった後、議論する時間を長めに取ってインフォーマルに議論しながら進める形を考えています。

場所：東京大学本郷キャンパス 理学部1号館 206号室/233号室
日時：2023年10月30日(月)、31日(火)
形式：現地参加推奨ですが、Zoom接続も可能です。

Dear all,

We are working on quantum computing application to high-energy physics
in ICEPP, The University of Tokyo.
We would like to announce the quantum computing workshop on October
30, 31, 2023 in Hongo campus
of the University of Tokyo, jointly organized by researchers from
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL).

This is going to be a focused workshop on Quantum Field Theory
simulation, Implementation/Optimization of
quantum algorithm and Higher-dimensional quantum computations. After
each talk on the latest development
in the field, we will have ample time for informal discussion.

Place: Room 206/Room 233 in Faculty of Science Building #1, Hongo
campus of University of Tokyo
Dates: October 30th (Monday) and 31st (Tuesday), 2023
Format: In-person attendance is preferred, though the Zoom connection
is provided.
