本年7/8-11の日程で東大本郷にて開催されるLCWS2024において
リニアコライダー実現のために長年尽力された駒宮幸男先生
(元東京大学素粒子物理国際研究センター長、前Linear Collider Board chair)
のご逝去を悼んでメモリアルセッションを東大ICEPPとLCWS2024 LOCの共催で開
催します。
このセッションは東大(伊藤国際学術研究センター)とZoomのハイブリッドで、
LCWS2024参加登録者でなくてもご参加いただけます。(登録不要)
日時は7/9(火)18:00〜を予定しています。

Dear collegues,
Sachio Komamiya, a key actor in the history of linear colliders, passed
away on 5th June 2024.
The ICEPP/U.Tokyo and LCWS2024 LOC will hold a dedicated session during
LCWS2024
on the evening of Tuesday July 9th to honour his memory.
This session is open to all collegues including those not registered to
LCWS2024,
either on site at University of Tokyo or on Zoom.
Details are posted at LCWS2024 website

After the introduction of his achievements, we invite several collegues
having close relation to him for short speeches.
Messages from general audience are also welcome, either on live short

「将来電子・陽電子コライダーの物理と技術」
(7/7(日)午後, 東大本郷キャンパス)
ですが、オンサイト参加の締切を来週末(6/28(金))に延長しました。

本スクールでは、
日本語話者の学生(修士, 博士, 学部4年生等), 若手研究者を主な対象に
LC/Higgs factoryの物理・加速器・測定器の基礎と現状を紹介します。
(講師については下記プログラムをご覧ください。)
分野の将来を担う若手研究者に、今後の高エネルギーの中心課題となる
期待が高まっているHiggs factoryを含む将来コライダーについて知っていただ
き
関心を持っていただくことは、日本の高エネルギー分野の将来にとって特に重要
と思います。
その意味で、特に現在ILCに関わっていない人にたくさん参加していただけたら
と期待しています。
シニアの皆様は、ぜひ研究室の若手メンバー等に声をかけていただければ幸いで
す。
遠方の方はリモート参加も可能です。(リモート参加も登録をお願いしています。

なお、オンサイトの参加者はLCWSの参加費を払わずにLCWS初日の
プレナリーセッションとポスターセッションに参加できます。

The 2024 International Workshop on Future Linear Colliders (LCWS2024)
will be held
from 8th to 11th July 2024 at Hongo Campus, The University of Tokyo.
Please visit our website at

The final registration deadline of in-person participation is
approaching to 30th June.
Registration for remote participation is possible until 5th July.
Please do not forget the registration if you are willing to join us.
