2025年1月27日(月) - 1月31日(金)の５日間、京都大学 基礎物理学研究所にて、
国際研究会”Gravity 2025: New Horizon of Black Hole Physics”
(https://sites.google.com/view/gravity2025)
を開催いたします。

重力波、量子ブラックホール、ブラックホールによる新たな物理の検証、強重力物理への数値解析的アプローチなど、
ブラックホールが関わる広範なトピックをカバーし、幅広い知見・興味を持った参加者が集うことで、
今後のブラックホール物理学の発展の鍵となるユニークなアイデアや方向性を見出すことを目的とした研究会です。
また、それぞれのトピックにおいて、最先端で活躍しておられる研究者を国内外からお招きし、導入から最先端の内容までをお話しいただく予定です。

既に関連した研究を行っている方だけでなく、
これからブラックホールに関連した研究を行ってみたいという方の参加も歓迎いたします。
(学生を対象とした滞在費（旅費を除く）サポートの予算が若干ございます。
全日程に参加し、口頭発表にご応募いただくことがサポート応募の条件となります。)
ハイブリッド形式での開催を予定しておりますが、口頭・ポスター発表は現地参加のみ可能です。

Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to announce an international workshop:
Gravity 2025 -New Horizon of Black Hole Physics-
(https://sites.google.com/view/gravity2025)
This will be held at Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics next year
from Monday, January 27 to Friday, January 31, 2025.

This workshop covers a wide range of topics relevant to black holes, such
as gravitational waves, numerical gravity, quantum black holes, and the
testing of new physics through black holes.
It aims to bring together participants with diverse knowledge and interests
to explore unique ideas and directions that could be key to the future
development of black hole physics.

We plan to invite leading researchers, who are active at the forefront of
each topic, to present content ranging from introductory to cutting-edge
topics.

Participation is welcome not only from those already conducting related
research but also from those who are interested in starting research
related to black holes.
(There is a limited budget to support local expenses, excluding travel
expenses, for students. To qualify for support, participants must attend
the entire event and apply for an oral presentation.)

We plan to hold the workshop in a hybrid format, but both oral and poster
presentations will only be available for onsite participants.
