2025年2月20日にJ-PARCにおいて、”J-PARCハドロン実験施設拡張計画タウンミーティング2025（HEF-ex town-meeting 2025）”を開催します。ハドロン拡張計画の現状について情報共有を行い、ハドロン実験施設の将来に関して自由に意見を交換し議論を行う場としたいです。J-PARCサイト(KEK東海キャンパス東海1号館)において、対面で行います(Zoomも用意します)。是非現地での参加をご検討ください。

若干ですが、前夜(2月19日夜)のドミトリー宿泊枠と旅費のサポートを用意しておりますので、1月末までに以下の登録フォームより申請をお願いいたします。

We are pleased to announce the “Town meeting on the Extension Project for J-PARC Hadron Experimental Facility 2025 (HEF-ex town-meeting 2025)” held at J-PARC on 20 February 2025.  In the meeting, we would like to share information about the current status of the extension project and freely exchange opinions and discuss the future of the Hadron Experimental Facility with all participants. The meeting will be held in person at the J-PARC site, KEK Tokai Campus, Tokai #1 Building (Zoom will also be available). Please consider participating in person.

We have reserved a limited number of dormitory rooms for the night before (February 19) and arranged travel expense support. Please submit your application via the registration form below by the end of January.

目的など：
　ハドロン実験施設拡張計画は、KEK-PIP2022において新たに予算要求をするプロジェクト候補の第1位として挙げられ、その実現の機運が高まっています。本タウンミーティングでは、拡張計画の現状について情報共有を行い、ハドロン実験施設の将来に関して自由に意見を交換し議論を行う場としたいです。目指す物理や、施設状況、国際状況、想定タイムラインを明確に共有することにより、コミュニティーが一丸となった拡張計画推進を目指すことを目的とします。
　率直で活発な議論を行うために、対面参加を基本として開催します。ハドロン実験施設で研究を行っている方々のみならず、今後ハドロン実験施設で展開されていく研究に興味のある方々のご参加をお待ちしております。
　（トークは日本語で行いますが、スライドは英語で用意します。英語での質問については、適宜英語で議論をいたします。）

参加費：無料
宿泊：J-PARCドミトリーが利用可能です。
サポート：財源に限りはありますが、主に若手の方々向けに交通費・宿泊費のサポートをいたします。

Purpose, etc.:
The Hadron Experimental Facility Extension Project has been selected as the top priority project to be promoted in the KEK-PIP2022, and its realization is gaining momentum. In this town meeting, we would like to share information about the current status of the extension project and freely exchange opinions and discuss the future of the Hadron Experimental Facility with all participants. The purpose of this meeting is to promote the extension project as a united community by sharing the physics we are aiming for, the status of the facility, the international situation, and the expected timeline.
In order to facilitate an open and active discussion, the meeting will be held on the basis of face-to-face participation. We look forward to the participation of not only those who are conducting research at the Hadron Experimental Facility, but also those who are interested in the research that will be developed at the Hadron Experimental Facility in the future.
(The talk will be in Japanese, but the slides will be in English and questions in English will be discussed in English.)

Participation Fee: Free of charge
Accommodation: J-PARC dormitory is available.
Financial Support: Although financial resources are limited, we provide support for transportation and accommodation mainly for young people.

みなさま

お知らせしておりました 「J-PARCハドロン実験施設拡張計画タウンミーティング2025（HEF-ex town-meeting 2025）」 の開催まで2週間となりましたので、改めてご案内いたします。

ハドロン実験施設の拡張計画は、我々コミュニティが強く願い、推進してきた重要なプロジェクトです。これまでHUAのタスクフォース（TF）を中心に精力的な活動を進めてきました。また、ご存知のようにKEKのPIP2022において、本計画は新たに予算獲得を目指す将来計画の第1位として位置づけられています。しかしながら、近年の建設コスト上昇などの影響により、現時点では計画の即時スタートは難しい状況です。

本タウンミーティングでは、これまでコミュニティで練り上げてきた拡張プランを基に、より早期の実現を目指した新たなステージング案を紹介し、広く意見を募りたいと考えています。

ハドロン実験施設での研究に関心のある方々、特に若手研究者・学生の皆様のご参加をお待ちしております。 まだ参加登録をされていない方は、ぜひご登録をお願いいたします。

なお、本会議の主催側で手配するドミトリーの宿泊予約は締め切りましたが、J-PARCユーザー以外の方で宿泊を希望される方は、ご相談ください。また、引き続き若干の旅費サポートが可能です。以下よりお申し込みください。
