Dear all,

we are pleased to announce that the following
one-day workshop on nuclear physics with strangeness
and clusters will be held at KEK theory center:

* KEK Theory Center One-day workshop
  "Nuclear physics with Strangeness and Clusters"
* 10:00-18:00, February 17, 2025
* KEK Tsukuba campus, KENKYU-honkan 1F, Conference room 1
* Hybrid style (Onsite + Online)
* Web: https://kds.kek.jp/event/53383/

If you are interested in our workshop,
please make registration through the workshop website.
We wish many people to attend the workshop and
to have lively discussions to develop our studies.

Organizers:
Akinobu Dote (KEK), Toru Harada (Osaka EC univ./KEK),
Takayuki Myo (Osaka Inst. Tech.)

===============================================
*** Theme and goal ***
We have a one-day workshop to discuss nuclear systems involving
strangeness and/or clustering structure and related hadron physics,
which are now investigated eagerly in various experimental
facilities, including J-PARC, in the world.

One of the main goals of the workshop is the synergy between
hypernuclear and ordinary nuclear studies. From the theoretical
viewpoint, the same methodologies are utilized in both studies;
for example, shell model, cluster model, and so on. Therefore,
we invite theorists who are experts on structure studies of
hypernuclei and ordinary nuclei. They will report on the recent
development of theoretical studies in both fields. By sharing
their knowledge with each other, it is expected to make further
progress in our studies.

In addition, experimentalists on hypernuclear physics will report
the results of their experiments and future prospects.
As for related issues, theorists of hadron physics will report
recent developments in their studies on neutron star and exotic
hadrons.

Thus, in this workshop we will deepen our understanding of
the strangeness nuclear physics from both sides of theory and
experiment. Furthermore, by discussions from various viewpoints
of hadron and nuclear physics, it is expected that we will have
new ideas in each field.

It is noted that Profs. Mengjiao Lyu (NUAA) and Niu Wan (SCUT) are
invited to KEK from China. They will stay at KEK for one to two weeks
including the workshop day. We invite them also to this workshop.
We wish the relationship between Chinese and Japanese researchers
to be more strongly tightened through this workshop.

Although all talks in the workshop are invited ones, we wish many
people to attend it and to have lively discussions to develop
our studies.

*** Registration ***
Please make registration through the workshop web page.
Click "Registration" on the menu. After the registration, you will
receive a confirmation e-mail from Indico. The information of Zoom link
