皆様
来年3月2日から6日までの5日間、岩手の安比高原で、主に大学院生をはじめとする若手研究者を対象にした国際スクール 5th Iwate Collider School (ICS2026) を開催します。2022年に始まり第5回目の開催となります。アジアを中心とする海外からの学生も受け入れ、対面形式のみでの開催です。
稼働中のLHC実験や将来のILC実験などのヒッグスファクトリーのためのコライダー物理をテーマとし、午前中は講義、スキーや議論のための長めのランチ休憩を挟んで、午後からは各自パソコンを用いたイベント生成シミュレーションのチュートリアルを行います。詳細は過去のスクールのWebpageを参考にしてください。

11月中旬に参加応募のための案内を改めて送りますが、周辺の興味のありそうな方に声をかけていただき、あらかじめ日程をおさえていただけたらと思います。岩手大学、岩手県立大学、岩手県ILC推進協議会、東北ILC事業推進センター等の支援を受け、宿泊費を含めて参加費は無料です。理論、実験問わず、素粒子物理学の将来を担う若手研究者の参加を歓迎いたします。

We are pleased to announce the 5th international Iwate Collider School (ICS2026) to be held at Appi highland in Iwate, Japan from March 2 to 6, 2026. The school will be held in person.
During the school, students will learn a variety of topics in collider physics via lectures in the morning and tutorials for event simulation in the afternoon. Long lunch break for skiing and discussions are planned. See more details on the webpage of the past schools:

We are preparing for the webpage etc, and will send the 2nd announcement in mid-November inviting applications.
Thanks to the support by Iwate U., Iwate Prefectural U., Iwate ILC promotion council, Tohoku ILC Project Development Center, etc.,
there will be no registration fee, and local expenses can be supported.
We look forward to hosting the new generation of young researches who will play a central role in particle physics in the coming future.

来年3月2日から4泊5日で行う 5th Iwate Collider School (ICS2026) ＠安比高原の参加登録を開始いたしました。
参加者の募集期間が1ヶ月未満と短いのでご注意ください。対面のみでの実施となります。
スクールの詳細、参加登録は以下のWebpageをご覧ください。

参加登録締切： 2025年12月12日
最大25名までの現地参加者を受け入れ、応募者多数の場合は選抜させていただきます。
対象は主にアジア各地の大学院生、ポスドクです。理論・実験は問いません。
今後のLHC、ILC等のコライダー物理において中心となる意欲のある方々の参加を期待します。
スタッフの方、周辺の興味のありそうな学生に声をかけていただけるとありがたいです。

ICS2026 will be held at Appi highland in Iwate, Japan, from March 2 (afternoon) to March 6 (morning), 2026.
All the details of the school and the online registration form can be found at

-- The deadline for application submission : December 12th, 2025.
-- Mainly for graduate students and postdoc's. Full-day participation is expected.
-- There will be no registration fee, and local expenses can be supported, but there are no support for travel fees.
-- The maximum number of participants is 25. In case of more than 25 applications, selection will be made.
