スクール「New computational methods in quantum field theory 2026」を以下の要領で開催します。
日程: 2026年1/26(月)〜1/28(水)

本スクールは、大学院生とポスドクを主な対象とし、量子計算や関連
分野の専門家による講義および参加者による発表を通じて、最新の研究動向とその応用について議論する場を提供します。

講師と講義内容は次の通りです。
・Junichi Haruna (University of Osaka) "Introduction to Quantum Error
Correction (tentative)"
・Yoshimasa Hidaka (Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics/RIKEN iTHEMS)
“Introduction to Hamiltonian Lattice Gauge Theory (tentative)”
・Tokiro Numasawa (University of Tokyo) "Open Majorana system (tentative)"

一般講演(レビュー含む)も受け付けておりますので、是非ご検討ください。

Dear member of particle theory group in Japan,

We will organize the school “New computational methods in quantum field
theory 2026” as follows:

 Dates: Monday, January 26 (Mon.) – January 28 (Wed.), 2026
 Venue: RIKEN Wako Campus
 Format: On-site
 Language: English

This school is primarily aimed at graduate students and postdoctoral
researchers.
Through lectures by experts in quantum computation and related fields, as
well as presentations by participants, it will provide opportunities to
discuss the latest research developments and their applications.

The lecturers and (tentative) lecture titles are:
・Junichi Haruna (University of Osaka), “Introduction to Quantum Error
Correction”
・Yoshimasa Hidaka (Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics / RIKEN
iTHEMS), “Introduction to Hamiltonian Lattice Gauge Theory”
・Tokiro Numasawa (University of Tokyo), “Open Majorana system”

Those who wish to participate are requested to register via the following
webpage by December 15:

We are also accepting contributed talks (including review talks), so please
consider applying.

For those who request it, we will provide financial support for travel and
accommodation. However, as the budget is limited, we may not be able to
support all participants, and priority will be given to those who give a
presentation. (If you have your own research funds, we kindly ask that you
use those as much as possible.)
