オンラインセミナーシリーズ QCD Theory Seminars についてお知らせします。
2020年5月から、日本、台湾、中国の研究者で、共同で行っているセミナーシリーズです：

今回は、吉田信介さん（華南師範大学）に次世代加速器実験 Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) の
物理について講演していただきます（講演は英語です）。

Title: Overview of physics at EIC: From the perspective of an ordinary
perturbative QCD theorist

Speaker: Prof. Shinsuke Yoshida (South China Normal U.)
Abstract: The electron-ion collider (EIC) is a next-generation experiment
scheduled to begin operation in the early 2030s. It is easy to imagine
that, just as RHIC was, physics related to the EIC will become a central
research trend in the field of high-energy nuclear physics for the next 20
to 30 years. The high-energy electron-proton collision experiment has a
history spanning more than half a century, and with each new experiment,
our understanding of nucleon structure has been continuously updated, while
also stimulating the development of the perturbative QCD as a theoretical
framework. In this talk, I will introduce recent significant developments
in perturbative QCD methods and discuss the physics expected at the EIC
from the theoretical perspective.
