Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the workshop

*From Quantum Gravity to Cosmology*
*28 September–2 October 2026*
*Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli
IPMU), Kashiwa, Japan*

*REGISTRATION IS OPEN*

The workshop will bring together researchers in quantum gravity and
cosmology to discuss major open questions at the interface between the two
fields, from challenges and tensions within the ΛCDM model to recent
progress in understanding the quantum origin of the universe and the
fundamental physics underlying cosmological models.

*Confirmed invited speakers:*

Niayesh Afshordi — University of Waterloo & Perimeter Institute
Benjamin Bose — University of Edinburgh
Suddhasattwa Brahma — Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata
Robert Brandenberger — McGill University
Clare Burrage — University of Nottingham
Bianca Dittrich — Perimeter Institute
Kristina Giesel — FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg
Lavinia Heisenberg — Heidelberg University
Olaf Hohm — Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
Tanvi Karwal — KICP, University of Chicago
Shinji Mukohyama — RESCEU & Yukawa Institute

Misao Sasaki — APCTP
Asato Tsuchiya — Shizuoka University
Yuko Urakawa — KEK Theory Center
Victoria Venken — Kavli IPMU
Francesca Vidotto — IEM-CSIC
Jun’ichi Yokoyama — Kavli IPMU

The program will include invited and contributed talks, poster sessions,
and substantial time for discussion. To encourage exchange across different
research communities, speakers will be encouraged to begin their
presentations with an accessible introduction before moving to more
specialized results and open questions.

Registration is open for both *in-person and remote participation*. The *call
