Julia言語の公式イベント「JuliaCon Local Tokyo
2026」を、2026年12月4日（金）・5日（土）に東京大学柏キャンパスで開催します。日本で初めて開催されるJuliaCon
Localで、富谷も世話人の一人です。

Juliaは、科学技術計算、数値シミュレーション、データ解析、機械学習などで利用されているオープンソースのプログラミング言語です。素粒子・宇宙分野でも、例えば以下のようなパッケージやプロジェクトが開発されています。

・格子QCD：JuliaQCDプロジェクトのLatticeQCD.jl

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce JuliaCon Local Tokyo 2026, the first
JuliaCon Local event to be held in Japan.

The conference will take place on December 4-5, 2026, at the Kashiwa
Campus of the University of Tokyo.

Julia is an open-source programming language used in scientific
computing, numerical simulation, data analysis, machine learning, and
many other fields. Packages and projects in particle physics and
cosmology include, for example:

- Lattice QCD: LatticeQCD.jl from the JuliaQCD project

methods.
