スピーカー:Daniele Dorigoni (Durham University) タイトル:Divergent series, Modularity and Resurgence in QFT アブストラクト: In this talk we shall discuss the divergent nature of most physical quantities computed in a perturbative expansion for some weak coupling parameter. The asymptotic nature of perturbation theory hides beautiful non-perturbative phenomenon via resurgence analysis. As a concrete example, we discuss certain physical observables in a highly symmetric quantum field theory known as N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. Due to electro-magnetic duality, we expect these correlators to be invariant under a weak/strong coupling duality. Resurgence analysis and such modular invariance uniquely constrain these correlators. We conclude with some comments on the usefulness of such correlation functions.
